What is Evan Williams eggnog shelf life?

As per Evan Williams website they state:

"Evan Williams Egg Nog is a cream-based product, made with real Bourbon. Not only does the Bourbon give it a great flavor, but the Bourbon acts as a natural preservative for the product. Because of this, it lasts longer than milk, but not forever. We recommend that it be consumed within 12 months, if unopened, and once opened, it should definitely be refrigerated and consumed within 6 months to keep its great taste. If you see that your bottle has gone lumpy or the mixture has separated, we would not recommend drinking it."
