On the lighter side:

If this animal existed, it may be considered endangered. But, if you are talking about big feet, then maybe so. If the foot is attached to a tiger, that is a big foot, yeah, but if attached to a mouse lemur, then it would be a not so big foot, yet still endangered.

When we look at endangered whales, they have no feet, but flippers, yet no one calls them Big Flippers.

Shaq has big feet, but he is in no way endangered, unless seven foot 300 pound Basketball players are endangered.

I knew a girl, we will call her "Rosie", that had huge feet. She could actually walk on water, which gave many people pause, thinking the Rapture had occurred! But although Rosie had these tremendous feet, she was no ways endangered, in fact, she was so big many thought there was more than one of her.

So, to sum it up, big feet on an endangered animal makes the feet part of that animal, yes. But, because something has big feet does not endanger it, unless it trips over its own toes and crashes down.

Then, the creature becomes an injured bigfeet, which is quite different from an endangered bigfeet.
