Wasp is a which kind of fly?

The wind here is gusting at 18-25 knots today. The wasps flying to and from the nest next to my window are flying as usual. Even in the strongest gusts they fly straight in. I can spot them from about 10 meters away and they seem to fly without deviation. It's a marvellous thing to behold
