no. motors POWER hydrolic pumps. hydrolic pumps cannot function at the fast rate needed to generate energy as motors do.

There is not necessarily any need for a hydraulic - or any other
may need to only turn at say 1 rpm and at this speed send out enough oil to drive a hydraulic motor. Then main thing to consider is what type of pump are we talking about? A gear type oil pumo my well not work at very low speeds, but a piston type pump will work very slowly if needed.
