Can you safley carry a gas can in your trunk?

You can safley carry a full gas can in the uk, in your boot. You will have to sercure the gas down to stop it from not moveing an inch, also you will need a sticker on the back of your car to display if it is oxygen,explosive,corrosive, etc.
