Are pets a pest

NO, not at all. They are usually very social, depending on what you get and after time they acctually become your best friend. If your lonley or sad, they comfort you and they actually do understand human feelings. You do have to take care of them, but it' 's usually no big deal. I have had many pets and I recommened a dog, or a guinea pig for starts. Well actually, I think it depends on you and the pet you have. If you have a horse and you hate handling poop, it is a pest. I LOVE pets very much and I don't think they are a pest to me, but if you are someone who will not like handling the things that come with owning a pet, then just don't get one. But if you still want one, the pets with the lowest maintanience are fish and hermit crabs.
