How does water benefit the Earth?

it stops the ground from drying and burning. Plants and trees need damp soil and water to live on. It also helps living creatures live; drinking from it, washing from it. We probably couldn't live without water and the earth would not be as good as it is today. honestly though the earth is not that good! no i'mnot a hater!
