Is it right to sell fur coats?

Selling the fur of an animal as a luxury item sure does create controversy. We have alternatives these days. In the caveman days. killing animals for their fur was the only way to create an article of clothing that would keep you warm.

I don't think it is wrong, with just a few exceptions. If you breed and raise minks for example, and you feed them and treat them well, but ultimately wind up killing them humanely (what a Word) for their fur, it is not an evil thing. Clubbing baby seals to death in front of their mothers for their fur is different and evil and unacceptable. Who am I to make this distinction? I am just a person with an opinion. I can and will draw the line between good and bad, and I have my reasons for doing so.
