The anatomy of Pteradactylus affected its life in many ways. First, they had the ability to have powered flight. Their toothed beak allowed them to catch fish and small terrestrial vertebrates. Their short hind legs couldn't allow them to balance as a biped. Therefor, they were quadrupedal when they walked, using their wings as front legs.
