Why should you proofread your work and not just rely on spell checker tool?

Because there are other types of errors besides misspellings. There can be errors in grammar and punctuation which a spell checker will not catch. There may also be problems with sentence clarity (are you making your point clearly?) and with the flow of ideas from one sentence or paragraph to the next. You may also have left out some important information.
