Does the Apple IPod touch fifth generation have free Internet or do you need Internet?

The only Apple devices that have constant internet are those with 3G or 4G, i.e. iphones.

ipads and iPod touches are welcome to surf the Internet if you are near a WiFi Hotspot or have Broadband in your home (go to Settings>WiFi and click on a wireless Connection).
