What is the limitation of RIPv1?

RIPv1 (Routing Information Protocol version 1) has several limitations, one of the most significant being its lack of support for subnetting due to its reliance on classful addressing. This leads to inefficiencies, as it cannot provide routing updates for subnets or differentiate between networks of different sizes.
