You have rca color track 2000 console model tv for some reason volume level of tv has really gone up used remote control also the button on the tv to bring the volume down but this does not work?

I have a Colortrack 2000. When you unplug it, the volume resets to default, which is rather loud. The buttons on my TV and remote are kinda finnicky. Most of the buttons on the TV itself work, except one. It used to be all but three of them worked, but two of the buttons randomly started working. (Weird.) I tried to open up my remote to clean it out, but I can't seem to be able to do anything constructive. Sorry, you're kinda out of luck as far as I know...
