Does organic fertilizer yeild better results than synthetic?

Yes. Because it takes a lot longer for the fertilizer to take effect, the growing occurs more smoothly and you get better results because of this. Organic is lower in nitrogen and phosphorous than synthetic, which creates less salt and less algae growth. Also as most things that are more expensive, you usually get better results than something similar that is cheaper.
