Do alligators hunt pythons

No, pythons eating alligators is rare and there are only a few documented cases of them trying (with a 50/50 outcome). What is more likely is pythons in the everglades (where they are not naturally part of the eco system) reducing the amount of food available for the gators therefore reducing the number of gators through starvation.
