How do you make the French sentence 'Vous êtes actrices' negative?

For making a sentence negative, we add ne and pasaround the thing we want to make negative. For example-

Je suis petite. I am short.

Je ne suis pas petite. I am not short.

Ne is modified when the next Word begins with a vowel or H.

J'ai un chien. I have a dog.

Je n'ai pas un chien. I don't have a dog.
