Are the 997 turbo Porsche any good?

In September, 2008, I was able to drive 19 cars in four countries worth about $6million. Two of them were Porsches (GT3 and GT2). I own a Ferrari 550 and fell in love with the Porsches. Now I also own a 2007 997 Turbo and it is both exquisite in its feedback to the driver and it out-performs every Ferrari I know of- up to a 599GTB and equals that for 1/3rd the cost!
