What is the difference of the word your and you're?

"Your" refers to possession.

Eg: This is your room.

"You're" is an short form of "you are"

Eg: You're coming home with me.

If you are confused, just apply "you are" to sentences in which you think "you're" should be used. If they don't sound right, you are probably using the wrong Word.
