Why does your headlights on your 1999 xc 500 polaris burn out?

These are halogen bulbs and may not be touched by hand or by any thing with oil on it, or they will burn out very quick. If this is not the problem look for something loose that maybe cause extra vibration to the blub causing it to fail.
