Who was orpheus spouse?

Orpheus's spouse was Eurydice, a beautiful nymph. Their love story is tragic; after Eurydice died from a snake bite, Orpheus descended to the Underworld to retrieve her. He charmed Hades with his music, but was ultimately warned not to look back at her until they reached the surface. Unfortunately, he looked back, and Eurydice was lost to him forever.
