How can you make your car go faster?

If you mean- accelerate faster.. you need to increase the horsepower or lighten the car. If you mean top speed, most cars are limited and a programmer/cpu is the only way around that.

For Horsepower:

engine programmer can be a good bang for the buck

cold air intake

under drive pullies or replacing clutch fan with a electric fan

tri-y or full length 4 into 1, shorties are a waste$$ for most newer cars

cat back exhaust, but newer cars don't pick up as much as older cars

from there on it gets expensive, involved....

turboes

superchargers

cam/intake manifold/(rr if a push rod motor)

ported heads/hi-po heads

stroker kits

Lightening is cheap(for the first few pounds), but most don't want to:

remove the-

back seat

spare tire/ junk in the truck

insulation/carpeting

passenger seat or replace both front seats with race seats

radio delete

light weight rims

carbon fiber/fiberglass- hood, fenders, deck lid

also changing the

ring/pinion gear

higher stall torque converter
