Despite Jurassic Park, there are formidible problems with resurrecting dinosaurs. The problem with the Jurassic Park technique (extracting DNA from insects trapped in amber), is that the earliest trapped insects so far found are millions of years younger than the latest dinosaurs. Next, even given DNA it essentially means cloning an animal - very difficult to achieve, finally, dinosaurs lived in an environment of 65 million years ago

  • they would have no immunity from modern deseases, bacteria that

they presumably needed in their stomachs to digest food don't exist now. There is an alternative technique that sort of gives you a dinosaur; birds are believed to have evolved from dinosaurs (specifically from the therapods). Therapod DNA is still within birds, but suppressed, it might be possible to "turn on" this DNA and you might end up with something that looked a bit like a dinosaur.
