What happens if you click the new button on the character screen of wizard 101 and will it charge you again for membership?

Sry i don't know , but i DO KNOW if you click new ... your OLD character wont be deleted! when you log in to look at your character notice the desks, your new character will be sitting at the desk and you click on them to equip them. I have 3 characters one fire, one storm and one life, and i buy CROWNS to get places, i don't subscribe so idk? But they SHOULDN'T charge you again that would just be ...? CRAZY?!?!?!
