Are the characters feelings in Pride and Prejudice superficial?

For some characters, such as Darcy and Elizabeth, the feelings are complex and examined in detail, both by the character and by the narrator. For other characters, the feelings are rather simple, and not examined. In the case of Wickham, we do not really have a description of his feelings at all, just what he did, which was to engage in various vices while trying to make himself attractive.
