Feed it whole milk and if its old enough, kitten food. Powdered milk is best, warmed slightly but not hot. If you do not have small bottles for feeding kittens, you can use a medicine dropper or a spoon. If the kitten is sickly, liquid Vitamin B is carried by veterinarians and maybe pet stores, and a drop can be added. There may also be a liquid formula available. Mother's milk is best. If you have access to another female cat who is nursing, she might feed it. My experience with this method has been mixed and depends entirely on the mother cat. Some are eager to take in orphans, and some refuse to care for any except their own. It is important to remember that the mother may have rejected the kitten because she knows it is dying, and there is only so much that you can do to save it.
