How can you make the ball of your nose look smaller?

Think of this, when you wear darker colors, the shape of your body appears to be skinnier. This is due to the effects that shadowing can create.

The same rule applies to the shape of a person's face. In order to create a narrower or slimmer look to your nose, you would use a method called contouring. Contouring is using darker tones to create a shadow around ares of the face that you want to slim down. It is commonly used under the cheek bones to give the face a more narrow frame. When choosing a darker tone(3-5 shades darker) to create shadows (contour) it is vital that you choose a matte color or in other Words a color that has no shimmer because when a color has shimmer the sun reflects off of it which contradicts the purpose of using a darker color (dark absorbs more light).

Use a medium chiseling brush to the sides of the ball of your nose and gently apply using outward strokes away from your face on both sides of your nose.
