Does a US citizen have to be born in the US to be President?

Yes. According to our current Federal Laws, you must have been born in the United States in order to run for President.

this is actually wrong... you do not have to be born in the United states... you do however have to be a citizen of the USA ... of natural birth. This being said, you can be born in Germany on a US Military base and still be a natural born citizen of the US. There fore being able to run for president.
