How did black beard get The Queen Anne's Revenge?

Blackbeard acquired The Queen Anne's Revenge in 1716 after capturing the ship, originally a French frigate named La Concorde. He upgraded and armed it for piracy, turning it into one of the most notorious pirate ships of its time. The ship became a symbol of his fearsome reputation in the Caribbean and along the American coast. Ultimately, it was lost in 1718 when it ran aground near Beaufort, North Carolina.
