How do you know who firestars father was?

If you go on Warrior Cats Wiki and type in firestar, their is a family tree on the bottom. it was revealed that Firestar, Princess, Scourge, Ruby and Socks' father is Jake, a kittypet that appears in Bluestar's Prophecy.
