Is the song price tag about the band thirty seconds to mars in the rap?

Obviously it is about not being shallow and caring only about money, not to sound rude, but it portrays a theme that music is about the message not making money. In reference to the lyrics you're asking about, I personally believe it was a reference to the band, 30 seconds to mars. I'm not sure wht they chose that band though, it's from a different genre of music. Which is why I developed another theory, which is that it means they're gonna get high, get 'out of this world', because people who smoke are almost always nicer and it talks about violence or talking crap about other musicians in another part of the song. Anyway, to conclude why I don't believe it was directly about this rock band, it would have said more about them or referenced them more than once in the song if 30 seconds to mars had anything to do with the theme.
