How do you put a Toyota Sequioa into and out of 4 wheel drive?

From 2 wheels to 4 wheels hi, U suppose to stop your SUV completely, then just push the 4hi and u should hear a little clicking sound coming from the two front wheel hubs. On the push switch, the little green or yellow light will start flashing. If it stop flashing, you are good. If not, then just simply take your feet of the brake pedal and let the SUV move just till the light stop flashing. Repeat again if not lock right away.

From 4 hi to 4low you have to stop the SUV and put gear into neutral first, then push the 4low button. There you should have no problem. To disengage to 2 wheels from 4 low, you have do the same thing. Put in neutral and then push 2wl button and will go to normal drive mode again. Hope this will help u out........
