What are the long term cons of having the implanon fitted?

Implanon is a Birth Control implant. It's a small rod about the size of a match stick that is inserted in the arm and last for 2-3 years. Some potential side effects are nausea, bloating, dizziness, headache, and pain and redness around the implant site.
