Is it true that in a direct democracy people vote on issues themselves rather than electing representativesn to decide for them?

right it is........... In a direct democracy/pure democracy the people outmost, 100%, fully influence the running of their country or certain decisions. They are the consensus i'd say and they are the voice, so you actually hear what the people have to say 'directly' lol so yeah the people decide on issues themselves.
