How do you calculate Conference room seating capacity?

Contact your local Fire Marshall and he/she can tell you the number of square feet per person based on how the room will be set up (e.g. tables and chairs, chairs only, etc.) There are general formulas you can find online, but I would advise checking with local authorities just to be on the safe side.
