How do bearded dragons exspress their pain?

it depends on the illness or injury they have.

in my case, my old beardie had an egg break inside her. her skin turned deathly pale, her beard pitch black, and she went limp and closed her eyes as though she was dead. she was put to sleep when i was gone.

BB, i lost a wonderful friend, and if there was anything i could do, i would have done it. you were a brave beardie, and i will never forget u. :'(
