You have been taking 1 10mg methadone pill twice a day for 5 months. how many days would you have to go without taking it .for it not to show up on your urine test?

If you are taking this narcotic drug under the direct care and order of a physician and have an official Prescription for this drug, then there should be no problem for it to show up in an urine test. Tell the screener that you are taking that drug under doctors orders.

Conversely, if this drug is being taken illegally, you might need up to a month for all of it to get out of your system.

Another fun fact:(PLEASE READ!!!) I learned that if you take Methadone, it doesnt show up in a standard drug test. The person sending in the urine to be evaluated for drugs must specify whether or not they want the urine tested for Methadone. A lot of places wont do that, so if you're taking Methadone without a script and are worried about a drug test, dont be! :)
