Can you drive your 07 Corolla with the check engine light on?

Of course you can drive it with the check engine light on.

But, depending on what the problem is, you may do damage to other components on the vehicle. For instance, if you have an engine miss causing the light to come on this will in time ruin the catalytic converter and O2 sensors on the vehicle. I would advise you to have the ECU scanned to retrieve the code which will tell you what part of the vehicle is being effected. The bottom line is that it all depends on what the problem is. You may drive the car with the check engine light on with no problems and then again it might cause serious problems.
