How many little brown bats left in the world?

As of recent estimates, the little brown bat population has drastically declined due to white-nose syndrome, a fungal disease. While exact numbers fluctuate, it's believed that the population has decreased by over 90% since the disease emerged in North America in the mid-2000s. Current estimates suggest there may be only a few hundred thousand left in the wild. Conservation efforts are ongoing to help protect and restore their populations.
