Yes, many people find this the easiest,cheapest way to 'renew ' their kitchen. =It can be done with the doors in place or by removing them. ALWAYS remove the handles and maybe even get new ones. -I would highly recommend using a Melamine based paint for this, it's a 'high hide' paint and very durable. Lots available in Home Depot.
