How do you treat birds with colds?

If your bird has a cold and you cant get to a vet, your should always keep it warm and comfortable, stick to cooked rice and don't let them eat any fresh veggies as this can make the cold worse. If you have other birds isolate the sick bird from the flock. get an old big sock with lots of room and cut a hole at the top big enough for the birds head, keep him in the sock for about 10 minutes while holding him. this will help keep him warm. If he still isn't getting better after you try these things take him to the vet. best of luck :)
