How do aardvarks hunt?

Aardvarks primarily hunt for ants and termites using their keen sense of smell. They locate their prey by sniffing out nests and then use their powerful claws to dig into the ground or wood to access the insects. Once they reach the nests, they use their long, sticky tongues to collect the ants and termites quickly. This nocturnal foraging behavior allows aardvarks to efficiently consume large quantities of these insects.
