What can you do to make your hair shiny and silky and straight on a limited budget?

For me, it's a cheap straightner with some nice shampoo and conditioner that makes it shiny and silky. Sunsilk has a special product for 'Addictive Shine'. I'm pretty sure it's in the pink bottle. Buying products for your hair from a discount chemist is also a great way to save money while getting the same products.
