How long can a goldfish live?

Usually a goldfish will live to be 1 month to a year but sometimes some goldfish live to be 3 years old others are even more lucky that they can live to be over 20
a gold fish can live for 3 weeks........................................................................................................................... O.o they live a lot longer than 3 weeks. If that is how long yours are living then you are definitely doing something wrong. The longest living goldfish was 43 YEARS old. Putting them in a bowl shortens there life considerably but you still get a few years out of it.
