Do green anoles hibernate

Yes, they do hibernate in the northern parts of their range, like North Carolina, Tennessee, etc.

In more southern areas where winters are warmer but still cool, they may bruminate; that is, become much less active and not eat, but they are not in that deep, deep torpor that hibernation entails.
