When do mockingbirds learn to fly?

Mockingbird chicks typically learn to fly about two weeks after they hatch. By this time, they have developed enough strength and coordination to leave the nest. After fledging, they continue to be dependent on their parents for food and protection for a short period as they refine their flying skills and learn to navigate their environment.
