When was technology popular?

Technology did exist in stone age. Using a stone to cut, crush or open things up can be called as a technology. Technology isn't just things that uses electricity or anything like that, Technology is using anything for a different purposes like using woods to create fire, using sticks to pick some Apples and etc.
