he was important to us to give us another view about how harsh Words and slavery can be. Though the characters view in some what over exagerating, we know deep down that we know that how he describes it is entirely right. If he had never been born, Richard Wright, another author, would never had meet him or would have encouraged Ellison to get a carrer in wrighting. We needed him and his book Invisible Man.
