Dolly mixes, also known as jelly babies, are made by combining sugar, glucose syrup, and Gelatin, along with flavorings and colors. The mixture is heated and poured into molds to create the desired shapes. After cooling, the candies are dusted with a light coating of corn flour or icing sugar to prevent sticking. Finally, they are packaged for sale.
