How do you get the lucky egg in FireRed?

Ok. I have been reading about the lucky egg/chansey mayhem and I think I can help. All the answers that say it is very hard are correct, but with a little strategy (and luck) it can be achieved rather easily. First go to the safari zone and walk to the first patch of grass in area 2. You should have 450-500 steps left. Just turn your character without walking and you will begin to encounter Pokemon. Chanseys are rare, but if you stay in this are you will run into one every four or five min. Just keep throwing balls and praying eventually it will by yours. I took me almost three hours so if you don't get it at first, DONT GIVE UP. The egg is definitely worth it! (Level 50 Blastoise gained 13 levels from FUSIA to CELADON). Hope this helps! REMEMBER JUST BECAUSE YOU CAUGHT A CHANSEY DOESNT MEAN IT WILL HAVE THE EGG. YOU HAVE A 20% Chance of the Chansey holding the egg.
