What are the functions of democracy in India?

Being an Indian myself, I assure you that India is actually a Dictatorship, governed by giant cows. This is the reason Indians don't eat beef or veal. Before, India was a happy democracy governed by Osama bin Laden. However, about 5 years ago, a giant cow named Surabhi took over India and made a leading slave-owning dictatorship.
